Amitruck in Africa

As many countries in Europe face shortages because of supply chain problems, the innovative solutions offered by Amitruck in Africa can provide important insights into making logistics more flexible and more efficient. This involves successfully overcoming many digital challenges, such as integrating APIs, to enable rapid coordination of diverse physical resources.

Professor Dr Rajkumar Roy, Dean of the School of Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering at City, University of London recognises Amitruck as a an example of digital innovation within a very traditional logistics marketplace in Africa. The Amitruck team, with their local knowledge and the services offered are bringing innovation in the transport solution, efficiency in the network and improving trust with the drivers. This is a timely intervention in the growing market and will attract more international logistics companies to Africa.

Dr Markus Witthaut, a senior logistics experts at Germany’s Fraunhofer Institute is enthusiastic about Amitruck’s services as they provide an innovative digital market place, which is a new solution that is relevant to shippers, local freight forwarders, and global third party logistics companies (3PLs). Dr Withhaut notes that Amitruck offers a high number of cutting-edge services ranging from real-time competitive pricing to digital and ERP integration).
