High-Level Advisory Board and Impact and Innovation Board
DIGILOGIC High-Level Advisory Board (HLAB) and Impact and Innovation Board (IIB) bring together experts in different fields, from different industries and geographies who advice and support the development of our project’s activities. Their contribution is essential to foster the cooperation and strategic partnerships between European and African DIH’s paving the way for start-ups, SMEs and innovators to jointly develop smart logistic solutions, in close cooperation with industries and ventures, securing sustainability and success.
The High Level Advisory Board (HLAB) is made of selected experts who have expertise in a subset of the topics that DIGILOGIC is tackling: from knowledge transfer to jobs creation, from logistics digitalisation to data security, from innovators mentoring to market uptake. They will play an advisory role supporting DIGILOGIC partners on Digital Innovation Hubs collaboration between Europe and Africa and facilitating the set up of a vibrant EU-Africa smart logistics ecosystem, focusing on:
- Assessing the results and impact of the project
- Supporting the awareness of the project and its activities
- Advising on DIGILOGIC Challenges for innovators
The HLAB members will participate in organised sessions where they will be sharing their expertise with our consortium over the lifetime of the project. We expect their interventions and insights to greatly expand our understanding of issues of the sector to inspire and break new ground. The DIGILOGIC project is engaging them in several activities:
- Critical advice on the project development
- Group and individual mentoring to innovators
- Attendance as guest speakers at project’s events
- Promotion among their networks of DIGILOGIC activities and events
- Networking and partnership within DIGILOGIC’s ecosystem
The Impact and Innovation Board (IIB) provides a strong input in the achieving of the DIGILOGIC goals with respect to various aspects:
- Mentor DIGILOGIC innovators and support their solutions uptake
- Design inputs into DIGILOGIC co-creation labs & strengthen the collaboration among Digital Innovation Hubs’s at regional and international level, beyond DIGILOGIC project
- Support the involvement of companies and investors needed to launch relevant smart logistics Challenges for innovators
- Reinforce the link with African diaspora associations to develop further opportunities of collaboration and innovation
The IIB members participate in dedicated sessions sharing their hands-on expertise with our partners and innovators. We expect their contributions to lead to opportunities to collaborate on creating, testing and improving solutions that address DIGILOGIC Challenges. The DIGILOGIC project is engaging them in several activities:
