DIGILOGIC System Thinking Workshop
February 11, 2021DIGILOGIC has kicked off …twice!
DIGILOGIC project, funded under the Horizon 2020 programme, started officially on January 1st 2021 and will last for three years.
On 15th January 2021, the projects’ partners had the opportunity to officially present DIGILOGIC vision, planned activities and expected impact to a cohort of experts from the European Commission, the PRIDA project, the Joint Research Centre (JRC) and the Africa-Europe Innovation Partnership initiative (AEIP). The meeting allowed DIGILOGIC partners from Europe and Africa to have a better understanding of the European Digital Innovation Hubs roadmap and evolution, while being informed about relevant initiatives and projects coordinated and funded by the European Commission to make the EU Strategy with Africa a living reality. It also offered great hints for future collaboration and networking opportunities across both continents.
A week after DIGILOGIC partners puts their hands-on deck with the operational kick off conducted virtually on 22nd January 2021. The experts from each partner had the opportunity to introduce themselves, their specialties and their role in the project while presenting the pipeline of most urgent activities, such as the implementation of the ecosystem mapping, the design of the eLearning platform and the plan for the technology radar framework. The challenges presented by the current COVID-19 pandemic in the roll-out of the work have been discussed, but the enthusiasm of our experts across 6 countries and their digital savviness make us confident: we’ll deliver and successfully implement DIGILOGIC vision.
